One of the folks at Embassy Ankara has set up a fund site where you can donate money to the family of Mustafa Akarsu. I have verified with the employee that it is legitimate.
As you hopefully remmber, Mustafa Akarsu was killed last Friday while stopping a suicide bomber attack at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey. Unfortunately, his retirement pension will only support his widow and children, with whom he had hoped to emigrate to the U.S. on the special visa given to longtime foreign national USG employees, for a short time.
