Welcome to the 156th!

I wanted to wish a hearty welcome to the 156th A-100 class, which started today. They do their first day at Main State these days, so tomorrow will see the ranks of FSI swell by probably about 90 new folks. You can pick them out as the only folks required to wear a suit (trust me, we all feel badly for you, especially in the summer!).

Several bloggers from the Future FS blogroll are in the current class. They are:

A Diplomat's Wife

Andrew and Samathan Grillos

Freedom for Diplomacy

New L'Attitudes

The Life Diplomatic

The Uncommon Life

Wanderings of a Cheerful Stoic (formerly Something Witty This Way Comes)

We Be Rolling Stones

Welcome to all of you! I hope you had a great first day at Main State and I look forward to seeing you at FSI. I'll be one of the 700+ language students wandering around in a fog with brain cramps.

Thanks from the 116th Specialists! Only two days in, but enjoying it so far.

Good luck with the language training! From the looks of some of the students I saw wandering around FSI today, you're not the only one in a fog.
